Privacy policy

Effective October 29, 2026

This policy explains what information Streaman Marketing, Inc. (“Streaman,” “I,” “me”) collects when you visit streaman.com, how it’s used and shared, and the choices you have. Yes, the guy with the intentionally bad homepage also has a real privacy policy.

Information I collect

Information you give me

When you fill out the contact form, I collect your full name, email address and phone number. When you call, text or email me, I receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, the tools described below automatically collect information about your device and visit. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location (such as city or region), the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, the links and buttons you click (for example, a tap to call or email), and identifiers stored in cookies.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Cookies and tracking tools

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This site uses the following tools, which may set cookies or use similar technologies:

Google Tag Manager
Loads and manages the other tracking tools on the site. Google Tag Manager itself doesn’t build a profile of you, but it may collect basic technical information to deliver tags.
Google Analytics 4
Helps me understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how often the contact form is used. Google Analytics uses cookies (such as those beginning with “_ga”) to tell visits apart.
Meta Pixel
Helps me measure the results of ads I run on Facebook and Instagram, and lets Meta show ads to people who have visited this site. The Meta Pixel uses cookies (such as “_fbp”) and may connect your visit to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one.

The site also saves a small setting in your browser’s storage if you opt out of ad tracking, so it can remember your choice.

How I use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and talk with you about working together
  • To provide and improve my services and this website
  • To understand how the site is used and which marketing brings in inquiries
  • To advertise my services, including to people who have visited the site
  • To keep the site secure and comply with legal obligations

How information is shared

I don’t sell your information for money. I share information only with service providers that help me run the site and my business, including:

  • Google, for Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
  • Meta Platforms, for the Meta Pixel and advertising on Facebook and Instagram
  • Cloudflare, for website hosting, security and email forwarding
  • Form and email providers, which deliver contact form submissions and email to me

Google and Meta may also use information collected through their tools according to their own privacy policies. Under some state laws, including California’s, allowing the Meta Pixel to collect information for targeted advertising may be considered “sharing” personal information. You can opt out of this, as described below.

I may also disclose information if required by law, to protect my rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of my business.

Your privacy choices

Do not sell or share my personal information

Use this button to turn off ad tracking on this site in this browser. The Meta Pixel and Google’s advertising features will be switched off, while basic site analytics may continue.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, this site treats it as a request to opt out of ad tracking, the same as using the button above.

Other options:

Your choice applies to the browser and device you’re using. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, you’ll need to opt out again.

California privacy rights

If you live in California, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information I collect, use and share
  • Request a copy of your personal information
  • Ask me to correct or delete your personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
  • Not be treated differently for exercising these rights

I don’t collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law. To make a request, email craig@streaman.com or call 203-241-6890. I may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You can also authorize someone to make a request for you.

Residents of other states with privacy laws can make the same requests, and I’ll honor them where those laws apply.

How long information is kept

I keep contact form submissions and messages for as long as needed to respond to you and, if we work together, for the length of our working relationship and any period required for legal, tax or accounting purposes. Google Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Data collected by Meta is kept according to Meta’s own policies.

Security

I use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive information like passwords or financial account numbers through the form or email.

Children’s privacy

This site is meant for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 16. I don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me and I’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
